Flourishing Together - Lorraine Prince at Kingfisher Conference

 

Lorraine Prince, Head of Networks, for the National Society for Education, led an interactive and stimulating session exploring Belonging at the recent Kingfisher Conference.

Speaking to the assembled trust staff, Lorraine challenged us to think about our preconceptions about places, people, and history. The themes of identity, equality, and justice came to the forefront in a hugely enjoyable and thought-provoking session.

Linked to a key theme of the day - to help every young person flourish - it was also fitting that Lorraine met Kingfisher staff as the trust begins its membership of the National Society's Flourishing Trusts Network. This is a national network of almost 100 multi-academy trusts - including community trusts, faith trusts and mixed trusts.
